Nocturnal Culture Night 10 - Warm-up Party with THE SEXORCIST and KLEQQ DEEJAY EDITION on 3rd September and General Impressions
Nocturnal Culture Night, short NCN, was celebrating its 10th anniversary and that was a good reason to celebrate a special festival including some new installments. For the first time at the NCN, a warm-up party was organized on Thursday 3rd of September and the less we could say is that not so many people were aware of the vent when we were announcing it at the camping entrance, but everybody rejoiced. Besides that, the festival has now four fully played open air stages whereof the Willow-Bow Stage and the Culture Stage are theme stages presenting special kinds of music like Minimal or Neo-Folk as well as authors’ readings and bands that are very new in Germany and where the promoters first want to see how they work on Germany.

Elbriot Festival 2015 with In Flames, Kreator, Opeth, Enter Shikari, Kvelertak, Callejon, Blues Pills, Black Stone Cherry, Eskimo Callboy and Vitja
On this Saturday morning, after a rainy night, the black metal crowd that was on their way from the Hamburg main station to the Großmarkt which is some walking minutes away, was very hopeful that the day stayed nice. There, the Elbriot Festival would be taking place for the third time. And one thing in advance: the Elbriot is so successful that it will get another day of the finest of metal music next year. Like the year before, more than 10,000 metal heads came along to see the shows. But it seemed like the day demanded all the energy of the people since the after party in the Markthalle was pretty empty.

Festung Königstein Open Air with Diary of Dreams, Diorama and Slave Republic
With the concert of DIARY OF DREAMS, DIORAMA and SLAVE REPUBLIC, the open air season at Festung Königstein came to an end. And what an end! The concert was declared as sold-out and 1,000 people celebrated a summer party with great bands. Much to our luck, all bad weather forecasts did not become true. There was no rain, no thunder and lightning. Instead we looked into a sky full of blinking stars.

M’era Luna Festival 2015 Day 1: Elvellon, Nachtgeschrei, Versengold, Spielbann, Coppelius, The Other, Ost+Front, Frozen Plasma, Lord of the Lost, Melotron, Deathstars, Merciful Nuns, L’âme Immortelle, Aesthetic Perfection, Saltatio Mortis, In Strict Confidence, Blutengel, [X]-RX, Rob Zombie, Phillip Boa & The Voodooclub, ASP
Once again, about 25,000 people returned to Hildesheim to enter the M’era Luna festival in 2015, making the festival sold-out for the third time in a row. First tents were built up in the early afternoon hours on Friday and of course the legendary opening party was joined by many visitors. There were “private” pre-parties all-over the festival area, wild Swedish people dressed up like PATENBRIGADE:WOLFF, people dressed all in black and of course the concerts taking place at the main stage and inside the Hangar. The weather was really sunny and hot, the nights were really cold – but hey, that’s what festivals are for. While a lot of people caught a sunburn and moaned about the heat, others built up private pools and took a bath. So as you can see the festivals provided several surprises and of course readings and a fashion show.
