Nightwish, Battle Beast & Eklipse
It took a while until fans were finally receiving a new NIGHTWISH album. After more than four years, the band finally released the long awaited fifth studio album ‘Imaginaerum’. The album is also the soundtrack for a movie whose protagonist is an old balladeer with an unbelievable imagination. ‘Imaginaerum’ appeals to our fantasy and long forgotten longings from a magical world. The expectations were high and excitement huge for the band playing live on German stages again since NIGHTWISH are known for their extraordinary special effects and brilliant stage and light show. Now it was time for us to see how the new album was visually brought on stage…

Icon Of Coil, Komor Kommando, Substaat
Just two gigs they are playing around Germany. So I was pretty sure that all of those gigs would be pretty much sold-out. Expect my surprise when I got to the club and actually saw like ten people going in. I was sincerely hoping that at least a few more people would turn up.

Rewind Easter Fest Day 1: Project Pitchfork, Clan Of Xymox, Chameleons Vox, The Beauty Of Gemina, Cassandra Complex, Department S, Schmutz, Erato
With the Rewind Easter Fest in Gent, one of those festivals came up that bear the typical trademarks of Belgium festivals: They always mange to gather an interesting line-up of bands that you don’t get to see live very often unlike other countries. This one made no exception and so it’s needless to say we all were very much looking forward to the two days of music ahead of us.

Nosturi, Helsinki, Finland
7th April 2012
Emilie Autumn
EMILIE AUTUMN is a well known US performer, composer, singer and prodigy violinist with prominent “Victorian-industrial” visual style. Her performances combine dark lyrics, energetic melodies and striking performance in burlesque style. Very gifted in music, she abandoned a classical musical career to become what she is now. Brought to us by Finnish promoter KingFoo (which is behind such large Finnish acts as NIGHTWISH and AMORPHIS), she appeared on 7th April in one of the best city venues, club Nosturi. Upon our arrival, we noticed a packed club with the majority of girls, as the whole local Gothic Lolita community gathered up for a (quite rare) occasion of a gig in Dark Scene-related genre. The present tour is supporting EMIELI AUTUMN’s new album ‘Fight like a girl’, due in summer 2012. http://www.emilieautumn.com/ / http://www.myspace.com/emilieautumn / https://www.facebook.com/emilieautumnofficial
