Led Astray, Beautiful Cafillery, Dying Humanity, Maroon
Saturday night, outside it is cold, it's raining, and everybody's looking for heat - posters promised hot music: MAROON had used a longer break for song writing. Now they wanted to present their latest CD ‘Order’ finally live to the public. Together with three other bands, they wanted to review their concept in a Saxon town. The legendary ballroom Tivoli in Freiberg seemed to them suitable and approx. 500 people had come. www.tivoli-freiberg.de

Jennifer Rostock, Beta, Thoughts Paint the Sky
JENNIFER ROSTOCK was coming to Bochum for the “Der Filmriss” tour. When I arrived at the Zeche, already a long queue was waiting to enter the venue. Well, the concert was sold-out and this fact promised a packed venue with pretty good mood. Support acts during this evening were BETA and THOUGHTS PAINT THE SKY.

Livingston, Takida
I want spring to start NOW. It can't be we still have to bear with grey clouds and rain can it? But weather forecasts say it will be getting warmer soon. Well, yesterday it was still cold and rainy when we hit the road to Osnabrück for the show of LIVINGSTON and TAKIDA. What we didn't know at the time; we'd be experiencing a big surprise!

Midnight Configuration, Inertia, Deadfilmstar, Lupine
I’ve been waiting to see these bands for a few years now. Actually in the case of MIDNIGHT CONFIGURATION it’s probably closer to a decade I’ve been waiting. Each one is either a veteran or soon to be firmly established name in the UK Goth scene. These four strong names are performing in the now legendary Electrowerkz in Islington, North London - the weekly home of one of the world’s premier Goth clubs, Slimelight. Prior to the first band taking the stage Nightbreed Recordings head and MIDNIGHT CONFIGURATION front man Trevor Bamford excitedly tells me how good the sound is in the club, and how he can’t remember when they sounded that good… in other words it’s promising to be one of the years premier Goth gigs.

HIM & Dommin
For over 10 years, HIM belongs to the most successful bands of Scandinavia. With the enthusing melange of emotional love songs and driving Metal elements, the formation around the charismatic front man Vile Valo has acquired an international following, devotedly dedicating themselves to their way of making music! HIM returned in February with their new album ‘Screamworks: Love in Theory and Practice’ to their fans followed up by two dates in Germany, one of which going down at FZW in Dortmund. Both German shows were totally sold-out and when I arrived at the FZW, a large queue was waiting in the cold outside to finally enter the venue, where first support act DOMMIN were up to enter the stage.
