Hatebreed Bashes the Nation with its Comrades: Hatebreed, Chimaira, Winds of Plague, Dying Fetus, and Toxic Holocaust
When it comes to any type of tour, during any time of year there is one thing to do in a time like this, "Loose Your Mind!" This is exactly what the 900 people scattered about the Pomona Glasshouse did on the night of 18th August 2009. A sea of black t-shirts and long hair covered in sweat ran up and down if not all around the Glass House, screaming and shouting throughout half the night. The night itself having had started off fast and heavy, with an intention that wouldn’t fade away anytime soon.

Castle Party: Variete, Psyche, Vic Anselmo, Indukti, Spectra*Paris, Dreadful Shadows, Covenant, Head-less, Solar Fake, Deathcamp Project, KMFDM, Diary of Dreams, Front 242
I must admit that every year as I pass the city board with the signature 'Bolków' on it, watch the black-clad crowds walking through the streets, hear the ubiquitous music and see the big 'Castle Party' banner hanging on the Castle's Tower that overlooks the town, the sentimentalist in me raises the head and wakes up.

M’era Luna 2009 Day 2 Hangar: Deathstars, IAMX, Tyske Ludder, Grendel, [:SITD:], Spetsnaz, Ashbury Heights, Frozen Plasma, Mina Harker
Except the very first and the very last band playing the hangar, the hall was totally in the hands of all the electro heads out there stomping to bands such as [:SITD:], TYSKE LUDDER or GRENDEL. During IAMX show you could spot several musicians who played earlier the day watching Chris Corner’s performance which was indeed fantastic. With DEATHSTARS, the hangar program ended and people leaving afterwards could see the rest of PRODIGY’s show on the main stage.

M’era Luna 2009 Day 2 Main Stage: The Prodigy, Subway to Sally, Tiamat, Alexander Veljanov, The Crüxshadows, L’ame Immortelle, Schelmish, Zeromancer, Scream Silence, Leichtmatrose
Against all weather forecasts, also the second festival day remained dry. Seems we were pretty lucky according the festival weather this year… so far. With THE PRODIGY, this day had a special highlight for me to offer. And it is for sure that a lot of people bought only day tickets for Sunday to see this band. But of course there were much more bands for any musical taste on the main stage starting with the surprising act LEICHTMATROSE.

M’era Luna 2009 Day 1 Hangar Stage: De/Vision, Zeraphine, Welle:Erdball, Untoten, Nachtmahr, Star Industry, Jesus on Extasy, Lola Angst, Faderhead, Heimataerde
Of course, the M’era Luna did not only offer a varied program on the main stage. Also the Hangar stage had some quite nice bands to offer. Starting off the day was HEIMATAERDE and even though it was very early, the hangar was nearly bursting. Only WELLE:ERDBALL managed on that day to draw as many people as the first band into the hall.
