New Model Army & Winston
“Silence in the middle of a Rock gig, that’s interesting!” said Justin Sullivan of NEW MODEL ARMY at the show in Münster. Were people at the show bored and asleep, or just speechless and in awe? Probably rather the latter, as a NEW MODEL ARMY live show is still, after 30 years of a career, one of the most exciting things for a Rock fan.

Paradise Lost, Samael, Ghost Brigade
PARADISE LOST’s latest output, the full-length ‘Faith Divides Us - Death Unites Us’, marked some sort of a return-to-the-roots which was hinted at over the last few albums. Fans of the very early days of the Metal institution have embraced the new album, and the tour in support of ‘Faith Divides Us - Death Unites Us’ offered a great package for all Metal heads with SAMAEL and GHOST BRIGADE as special guests.

Hellfire Festival Day 2 - Main Stage: Serotonal, October File, Katatonia, Anathema, My Dying Bride, Fields of the Nephilim
Day two of the Hellfire Festival promised to be even better than the first with a plethora of bands that I like, particularly KATATONIA, FIELDS OF THE NEPHILIM and MY DYING BRIDE. It should probably be mentioned here that HELLFIRE had joined forces with MUSIC LIVE and that if you had a HELLFIRE ticket you were allowed into one of the biggest trade exhibitions of musical instruments and recording/ gigging equipment in Europe as well. Sweet! Aside from MUSIC LIVE there were good trade stalls selling clothing etc in the main hall and the scene was set well the first band, being more people here today and a better general atmosphere.

Editors, The Maccabees, Wintersleep
It’s not so long ago that I discovered EDITORS for myself, but I quickly feel in love with their way of doing things and the extraordinary voice of Tom Smith, so it was absolutely clear to me that I wanted to attend one of the shows, and Bielefeld would be the place. What a debut.
