A_Life [DivideD], Samsas Traum, Oomph!
Oomph! returned this year to the music scene with a new album called “Glaube Liebe Tod” and after two single releases - ‘Gott ist ein Popstar’ and ‘Das Letzte Streichholz’ - they were touring through Germany again after two years and the big success of their first No.1 hit ‘Augen Auf’. Those who had seen Oomph! live once or several times before know that the guys are a guarantee for a good concert. They also invited to Cologne which was a sold out concert with two support bands. We followed this invitation to see three different music styles during one evening.

After some years as “Rock im Warndt” the festival changed 2006 into “Mystic Festival”. Therefore the organizers created a whole new concept and obliged some new and many well known bands. In the former coal-mine were enough space and possibilities to make a good festival. Because of the setting near to France and Luxembourg also people from those countries could reach the festival easily.

Epica, Ebony Ark, Asrai
When approaching Paradiso I saw a large crowd of black people, it appeared some had been waiting there since three in the afternoon. Just after 7 o’clock the crowd cheered for joy when the doors to opened. Just like Epica these fans had all finished their “Road to Paradiso” and their reward was waiting inside.

Universal D.O.G., Lahr, Germany
April 22nd 2006
Faun, Diorama, Kirlian Camera, Covenant
For the 17th Dark Dance Treffen in Lahr we decided to take the long way down to the south of Germany to see once again one of our all-time favourites Covenant besides some very nice other bands too. We arrived early enough at the venue to see Covenant’s sound check and get a short impression of what to expect later. Because we still had lot’s of time we decided to have some food nearby and returned to the venue around seven. The Universal D.O.G. is a very nice venue with several different rooms where the concerts took place and where different dance floors were spread. In the out-door area there was another dance floor as well as a merchandising market and an area where you could get food and where they held some BBQ. http://www.dark-dance.de
