Apocalyptica - “Plays Metallica Vol. 2 Tour 2024/2025” - Support: The Raven Age
When the founding members of APOCALYPTICA (Eicca Toppinen, Paavo Lötjönen, Max Lilja and Antero Manninen) met at the Finnish Sibelius Academy in Helsinki in the 90s and decided to play tracks by their favourite band METALLICA on the classical music instrument cello and also to use four pieces from METALLICA’s repertoire as an exam at the academy, the young Finns certainly didn’t think that this flash of inspiration would still stand them in good stead 28 years later. But in 2024, the follow-up to the band’s debut album was finally released. The album bears the obvious name “Plays Metallica Vol. 2” and forms the backbone of the current tour, on which the band is focusing exclusively on the US metal band’s material.

Beartooth - “UK EU Tour 2024” - Special Guests: Landmvrks, Polaris
Our favourite Metalcore band BEARTOOTH from Columbus, OH seems to be a roll. They just released their latest album ‘The Surface’ a year ago and have been touring relentlessly ever since. They started out in the US in spring with THE PLOT IN YOU, INVENT ANIMATE and SLEEP THEORY, came over to Europe for a ton of summer festivals (including Rock am Ring / Rock im Park), and now finally they have arrived for their European tour with LANDMVRKS and POLARIS. As the first gig sold-out in no time in the Palladium, it was fortunate that the band managed to squeeze in a second show a day later, which also sold out, making it the largest headliner shows for BEARTOOTH in Europe.

Alice Cooper - “Too Close For Comfort” - Special Guest: Doro
It was an evening with living legends in Oberhausen. ALICE COOPER can now look back on a 60-year career, while support DORO has been in the business for over 40 years. Together, the icons of Rock and Metal drew over 6,000 fans to the Rudolf Weber Arena in Oberhausen, which is not bad considering the hefty ticket prices.

Madness - “C’est La Vie Summer Tour 2024” - Support: Boss Capone & Patsy
MADNESS is one of the representatives who popularised Ska-music in the 1980s and made it accessible to a wider audience. A style of music that has its roots in reggae and became better known beyond the borders of its home country Jamaica as early as the 1950s. On their “C’est La Vie Summer Tour 2024”, the British boys from MADNESS visited the Palladium in Cologne. Visitors even came to Cologne from neighbouring countries. There were fans from the Netherlands, France and even the United Kingdom. Everyone wanted the same thing, good music and to see the still active MADNESS live again. BOSS CAPONE & PATSY travelled from the Netherlands as the support band. The band is no longer unknown in the Ska and Reggae scene. Even before BOSS CAPONE & PATSY took to the stage, the visitors were entertained by a DJ with classic Reggae and Ska.
