Tarja & Scala Mercalli
Her current album is the centre of this year’s autumn tour of singer Tarja Turunen. During eight shows in Germany, she’ll present the album to her audience. The show in Dortmund was far from being sold-out. I had expected more interest in the solo work of Tarja, but sadly the venue was half filled only. Anyway, the people being present should be rewarded with a great concert…

Feuerengel - A tribute to Rammstein
FEUERENGEL is a German tribute band to RAMMSTEIN. After a RAMMSTEIN concert in 1997, Boris, +hors+en, Farp, Daniel, Holger and X-oph decided to form a cover band. Understanding that the special show elements with all these different kind of fireworks are very important, they worked on sticking as much to the original as possible. Therefore they have hired a pyrotechnician for their shows. And they are doing their job as a cover band with so much success that they were even invited to a party of RAMMSTEIN and their guests in 1998 and gathered a lot of positive media attention. Thus it is no wonder that they were headlining several open- air festivals in Germany and the Netherlands. At the request of RAMMSTEIN they performed in 2005 again for them. http://www.feuerengel.de / https://www.facebook.com/feuerengelmusic

Doro & nulldB
The legendary venue Jovel in Münster/ Westphalia established its reputation with presenting a diverse programme of live acts and other events of high quality. In 2006, the former location had to be closed but they found a new home in a former car dealer and built a shiny new place that is now accessible for handicapped people as well. The venue has a capacity for 1,500 people now.

This year’s edition of Impericon’s Never Say Die! Tour takes place at Tivoli in Utrecht and as usual, the organisation put together a brutal line up of hardcore, metal and metalcore. Earlier editions of this tour featured names such as COMEBACK KID, PARKWAY DRIVE and STICK TO YOUR GUNS. This year American death core band EMMURE will do the honours of literally taking your breath away as headliner of the evening. But that’s not all. A fine selection of Australian and American hardcore bands will get ready to warm you up: Carnifex (USA), I Killed The Prom Queen (AUS), Hundredth (USA), Northlane (AUS), Hand of Mercy (AUS). European flavours will be provided by the French Deathcore band Betraying the MartyrS.
