Paradiso, Amsterdam
Unheilig, FabrikC
On a sunny spring evening, the Graf honoured the Netherlands with a visit. While most people preferred to spend a steamy night on the terraces of Amsterdam, a small amount of people chose to spend an evening inside with the Graf, warmed up by German industrial band FabrikC. Performing in a former church, the setting was worthy of the count.

Rapalje, Omnia, Orfeo and many more
The entire week it was nothing but rain but on the first morning of Keltfest the sun was shining. A few drops fell but that was all. Last year the festival was still called Scotlandfest but this first year with a new name was definitely a success. Two days of folk music, live re-enactment, dance, food Highland Games, and laughter. There was a lot of activity on the festival terrain. On of the first things you saw when entering: the highland games. Strong men, women and even children challenging each other in activities such as throwing logs and swinging heavy weights across the grass. A few members from the audience were even invited to give it a shot. They were allowed to throw the women's weight (25kg). The men's weight (50kg) would have definitely been to much for a newbie.

Fear Dark Festival: Sletchvalk, Thy Majesty, Eluveitie, Endstille
Shortly after I reached the LKA, I had to realize that I already missed the first band but some others should still follow. It thought it would be a real good indoor festival with Headliners like ENDSTILLE and ELUVEITIE. But unfortunately I must confess that I was almost disappointed this year. The selection of the bands was more than poor and for a FEAR-DARK-FESTIVAL not satisfying enough. There were so few people in front of the stage at some times that we had enough space to play a football match. Most other fans I talked to where also not very impressed with this selection and they mainly came to this festival cause of the headliners ENDSTILLE and ELUVEITIE.

Kiss, Motorhead, Whitesnake, Twisted Sister, Def Leppard, Kansas, Journey, Gotthard, REO Speedwagon
The sixth year in a row for the Arrow Rock Festival. This years line-up brought big promises. Only one cancellation (3 doors down) left us 9 rock bands to enjoy. Most of them have been together and the headliner of the day Kiss was having their 35 anniversary! But did that influence their performance? Well, not in a bad way, that is for sure.
The weather was better than predicted at first. Sun with a bit of rain, actually quite nice festival weather. On the festival grounds there were of course some shops to get some new shirts, albums, posters etc. There was even some extra entertainment, consisting of a parade of strange machines with even stranger drivers riding around the field. They seemed to have come out of a fantasy movie. Since the headliner was Kiss you could have your face painted just like one of its members. It was fun to see more and more painted faces during the day.
