Coldplay and Goldfrapp
As I heard that Goldfrapp would be supporting Coldplay I knew that I had to see that show. Goldfrapp are brilliant... and unfortunately they gave only two headliner shows in Germany: Berlin and Hamburg. So the only chance was to see them together with Coldplay – another great band. What a package! Just one day before the concert I´ve got the confirmation to see that sold out show in the arena in Oberhausen, which grasps 13.000 people max. We had quite some trouble to be there in time... even though we started very early we reached the arena just in time... traffic jams and the search for a parking lot took a lot of time and so we were taking in our seats just at the forst sounds of Goldfrapps “Utopia” which opened the show.

Trisomy, Valkyre, The Legion of Hetheria
A small venue which normally, as the name suggests, serves as a pool bar has been transformed into this place for the local metal fans to hang out tonight. Opposite to the train station situated on a small square, the venue is locked in between small disco look-a-likes. A Dutch, a Belgian and a Mexican gothic metal band were to hit the make-shift stage tonight to balance out the poppy disco tunes that come from the other buildings.

Graspop Metal Meeting – 10th edition
26th june 2005
Dessel – Belgium
Iron Maiden, Lacuna Coil, Dio, Yngie Malsteem, Aborted, Hatesphere
The last day of the tenth anniversity of Graspop. A day with many big names, but also a day to relax a bit in the sun. The day that there were a lot of people with a ‘one day’ ticket. It is funny to see all those ‘fresh’ people, who seemed to be a bit lost. After some nice bowl from fruit for the vitamines and the energy they day could start.

Haggard, Remember Twilight
As seasons are changing and summers warmth is being replaced by autumns wind, a variety of people gathered in ‘De Kade’ in Zaandam. While we waited in the café for the guest list to arrive we could watch the audience come in. there was a mixture of metal clothes, gothic clothes and even some medieval outfits.

Zeraphine
Here we go - Blind Camera Tour Part II and Zeraphine are in Bochum for the second time this year. They must have felt how welcome they were here. After playing in the very small “Riff” in, this time they have chosen the Zeche as location as a much bigger place being perfect for gigs like this; but unfortunately it was not sold out. It wasn’t empty at all - there were quite a lot of people, but I have expected much more. We were wondering if the guys will have a support band, but one view on the stage and seeing the instruments, there was no doubt that there won’t be a support. Later we knew why – Sven told us that there wouldn’t be enough time for two bands.
