The Pre-Opening at Moritzbastei was already a great event to get back into the WGT world. After three years, it still felt somewhat unreal to be back here. Friday is always somewhat of a weird day. It feels like the festival will be going on forever since there are full four days of program, but at the same time everyone knows that these days will be over in no time.

The 32-city grasping global stadium tour started on Saturday, June 4th at the Estadio La Cartuja in Seville, Spain with further stops in London, Cologne, Paris, Hamburg, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and many more before it will end on September 18th at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. The tour is produced by Live Nation. The concert day was perfect for open air… clouds, dry, around 25 degrees… and s sold-out stadium. So let’s see what it brings musically…

With no signs of slowing down, MARKY RAMONE continues to tour the world with his band, MARKY RAMONE’S BLITZKRIEG, featuring various lead vocalists. In summer 2019, he played an amazing gig at Backstage Munich and Munich was now looking forward to seeing Marky on stage again.

At this beautiful summer evening, the Waldbühne, one of Berlin’s biggest open-air stages, was sold-out. It was a very diverse audience which filled the ranks, something not so surprising given the fact that NICK CAVE’s music is so multi-faceted that probably most people can at least find a couple of songs of their liking, as one spectator commented.

Iggy Pop - “Free Tour” 2022

Düsseldorf is considered the birthplace of German Punk music and on this day the German Punk legends DIE TOTEN HOSEN played for their 40th birthday in a Düsseldorf stadium and the “Godfather of Punk” IGGY POP performed in the Mitsubishi Electric Hall in Düsseldorf. We opted for the American legend and were not disappointed.
