23rd August 2017
Whitechapel, Aversions Crown, Within the Ruins
Currently, WHITECHAPEL play at many European festivals. Also last weekend on the Summer Breeze Festival, which was noticeable because the technicians have worn the actual festival shirt. WITHIN THE RUINS and AVERSIONS CROWN also played at these festivals but the bands didn’t refuse to play at small locations with less of audience. Two club shows were planned in Germany: in Saarbrücken and in Oberhausen. Although the concert in Saarbrücken was planned in the Garage, it was moved to the Kleiner Klub next door. Reason for this probably was the too few visitors for the great hall. So the whole evening was much more intimate and personal.

Elbriot Festival 2017 with Bury Tomorrow, Whitechapel, August Burns Red, Architects, Children Of Bodom, Hatebreed, Trivium, Bullet For My Valentine, Megadeth
For the fifth time the Elbriot festival takes place in Hamburg and the sold-out event allures all the black clothed folk. Although it's not even midday, the people are drinking beer, wine and hard liquor on their way from the central station to the festival entrance. They are looking forward to have a good day with BURY TOMORROW, WHITECHAPEL, AUGUST BURNS RED, ARCHITECTS, CHILDREN OF BODOM, HATEBREED, TRIVIUM, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE and MEGADETH. So it is a day of core music with a little bit of melodic death and thrash metal. You can also say the day is filled with music from the USA and the UK with one Finnish exception. Let's pretend this was a little music battle between the States and the Kingdom.

Depeche Mode & Maya Jane Coles - REVOLUTION IS HERE
The general excitement prevailed before the concert of DEPECHEMODE in Kiev on July 19th - everyone was worried that the concert may not take place, because on the eve of July 17, the concert of the band in Minsk was cancelled several hours before the start because of the hospitalization of vocalist Dave Gahan - he was taken to a local hospital with a sharp intestinal disorder. But for the great joy of thousands of fans, the band successfully flocked to Kiev, and the organizers announced that everything is in order and the concert will necessarily take place. This is the third visit of the legendary Britons to Ukraine, this time as part of their Global Spirit Tour.
