Prague Gothic Treffen 2018 with Noví Lidé, Ariel Maniki and the Black Halos, Ash Code, Vokoj feat. Espe, The Saint Paul, Das Ich, Phosgene Girls, XIII. Století
Czech gothic festival Prague Gothic Treffen is held for the thirteenth time and in comparison to the previous times when it was a mainly DJ event, in 2017 four bands were invited to a two-day festival. In 2018, the festival was expanded for three days and for a larger number of bands. Original line-up of the festival included the German project WELLE: ERDBALL, but because of the pregnancy of one of the members their performance was replaced by the other German band DAS ICH. The line-up included also exotic band from Costa Rica plus several local Czech projects. The culmination of the whole action at the thirteenth festival was the show Czech Gothic legends XIII. STOLETÍ. Symbolic. Three days, three clubs, gothic picnic, new inventions and a lot of music. The festival was about to start. So let’s rock!

Goethes Erben - “Am Abgrund” Tour 2018
It’s been about exactly 11 years ago that I saw GOETHES ERBEN for the first time live on stage. But back then I also thought that was going to be the last time as well, as we were attending the very last of the three goodbye-shows in K17 in Berlin on 15th September 2007. I was not a big fan before, but joined my partner back than as I was curious to see them. I just turned 18 in 2007, in the Gothic scene for about 4-5 years at the moment and knew GOETHES ERBEN already as the band / project that was a legend.

As part of their “Widerstand Tour”, Nachtmahr paid a visit to Oberhausen last Friday. Before the show, there was a fan meeting with the band where you could talk to the band members, get stuff signed and of course, pictures were taken. NACHTMACHT brought two support acts with them, namely DKAG and SYNTHATTACK.

Rea Garvey & Ryan Sheridan
REA GARVEY has released a new album, called ‘Neon’; so this next arena tour must be in a special light. Though he stayed loyal to himself you can hear that he used different sounds than before. There is an “urbane / streetlike” atmosphere in the focus. REA GARVEY has always searched new challenges over and over again and has also found them. He has this special feeling about melody, rhythm, rhyme and also know to tell and put into words what is on his mind and in his heart. We were curious how he will bring his new songs to life on stage and for sure to hear some of the other successful songs from the past.

Puddle Of Mudd & Special guests: Rev Kiddo, Psycho Village
American Hard Rock formation PUDDLE OF MUDD were celebrating their resurrection with a tour through Europe’s cellars and small clubs. This was the first time ever for the band to play in Düsseldorf, and a once-in-a-lifetime chance to come close with a band that sold over 8 million copies of their major debut album ‘Come Clean’ since 2001 alone.
