Get Well Soon & Sam Vance-Law
GET WELL SOON celebrate nightmares and their associated traumas in their latest album, ‘The Horror’. Fear as an antipole to the previous work ‘Love’, and both strong emotions. Oppressive melodies, melancholy songs, all bedded in dark pictures. The ambience is held in the bleak blue light with three large black and white banners with nightmarish shapes. Konstantin Gropper has already made a lot of progress as a graduate of the Mannheim Pop Academy. The warm, clear baritone and the crooner presentation lend the songs, despite all the heavy lyrics, certain lightness.

The Rasmus, The Shiver & Overlaps
For a long time we did not hear anything from the Finnish Pop Rockers THE RASMUS until they released their current album, ‘Dark Matters’, last year. In front of the FZW, a predominantly female queue is waiting and the demographic distribution ranges from children to older couples. From the radio listener over the Goth fan to the mainstream Pop fan… everything is present. In 2001, Lauri (vocals), Eero (bass), Pauli (guitar) and Aki (drums) made their breakthrough with their album ‘Into’ in Finland. The successor, ‘Dead Letters’, lets the band ignite in Europe. With their current album and the new single, ‘Holy Grail’, they are now on tour in Germany.

Gothic Meets Klassik 2018 Day 2 with Joachim Witt, Diary Of Dreams and Unzucht
The first day at Haus Auensee already created a lot of excitement about the second and most special part of the event on Sunday. So the long awaited day had come and we were more than excited about the performances, arrangements and the selection of the songs in the Gewandhaus. First surprise was actually that not the symphony orchestra Zielona Gora was part of the show, but the Philharmonie Leipzig orchestra. After having attended the event for many years, I was kinda expecting to see some familiar faces. Obviously it didn’t happen, but the quality of the performance was conceivable high and just amazing!

Riverside, Walfad, Spiral - “Wasteland Tour” 2018
On 14th of October, in the music centre CKA2, there was a concert of RIVERSIDE. It was one of many planned within the “Wasteland Tour” 2018 and it promotes the newest release of the band, entitled ‘Wasteland’. There are still 21 concerts scheduled e.g. in Germany, Spain, Portugal, France, Belgium, UK and the US. As supporting bands we could see SPIRAL and WALFAD. The first, general impression was that it was pure magic. The beauty of profound vocals and the power of incredible music plus the amazing spectacle of lights - on Sunday evening in Wroclaw the reality had to step aside and let the enchantment lead the way.
