Coppelius, Cumulo Nimbus
We had never seen or heard a song of this mysterious band called COPPELIUS before and from what we read we thought we had a good impression of what a show with the band might look like but what happened at the Underground club in Cologne hit us a bit off guard…

Gothic Aid: New Days Delay, Pesticide, On the Floor, Fetisch:Mensch, Cyan Inc., Sono, The Promise, Rotersand, Zeraphine, Project Pitchfork
The second Gothic Aid Charity festival took place on 15th March at the Markthalle in Hamburg for the good of a children’s hospice (http://www.sternenbruecke.de/) and many people were following the call. No wonder as you’ll hardly get to see any band in other places for a price of 20, - EUR. The Markthalle was divided into two separate locations: The big hall provided perfect conditions contrary to the small “Marx”. Basically this separation was a good idea. More of that later. It was planned to switch between the two locations with only minor interceptions. Well, at least it worked out at the beginning. But even if there were smaller technical problems and partly very differing performances on stage, we all should pay all involved respect for their efforts on this evening and say Thank You!!!

Nightwish, Pain & Krieger
On Wednesday the 19th March we went to Dortmund to enjoy NIGHTWISH at their current tour, which is the first tour with the new singer and I was very anxious to her and the new show. We had just arrived at the venue - a half hour before the announced starting time - when already the lights went out and the first support band KRIEGER entered the stage.

Chamber, Barbara Cuesta
Spring is approaching. Nature awakens from a long sleep and everything starts to get green again and so CHAMBER decided to call their current tour “Transitions / Spring Arising” on which they presented the songs of their most recent album ‘Transitions’ released in October 2007 mixed with tracks from all the preceding studio releases.

The Mission & Dead Guitars
There are bands which you don’t want to say “goodbye”. But THE MISSION said goodbye, but at least graced the farewell of the band with a very last tour aptly named “The Final Chapter”. The last show of the German dates was to be held in Cologne and even though HIM played the city at the same evening, the Live-Music-Hall was pretty crowded.
