23rd March 2019
Diary of Dreams
For almost a year I have been planning my big trip to Colombia. In March, I was to travel this amazing country for an entire month. I got my flights already in July 2018. In January I planned everything, booked all the hostels and all the flights in Colombia. On 4th of February all plans changed. DIARY OF DREAMS announced their very first show in Colombia for the 23rd of March. I could not believe it! Not only are they one of my all-time favourites, but it also offered me the perfect opportunity to explore Colombia’s Gothic scene. I definitely had to be there!

So many weeks we have been feverishly looking forward to this date. We discussed, listened, discussed again and watched the first and second part of ‘Iron Sky’, and yet we could not say exactly what to expect. But we knew it would be great. And it became even more than that.

Mike Shinoda - “Post Traumatic” Tour - Support: Edsun
The death of Chester Bennington in 2017 was a big shock not only for millions of fans worldwide, but of course especially for the frontman at his side, MIKE SHINODA. What will happen after such a loss? SHINODA himself has channelled his grief and pain into what he does best: Music. For the first time under his own name, he has released the album ‘Post Traumatic’ and handled with the loss of his best friend there. On Saturday, the rapper visited the Luxexpo and also Luxembourg for the first time. The hall was good filled and contained - who would have thought it? - mostly loyal LINKIN PARK fans. Supporting the Luxembourg gig was the unique local artist EDSUN. A concert that only could be recommended to everyone.

Korpiklaani - “Wayfarers and Warriors” Tour 2019 - Support: Turisas, Trollfest
A fair dose of laughter, positive energy, strong sonic kicks, loads of fantastic sounds, sense of humour and sharp music blast - does it sound like a description of a Metal concert? Well, even if it doesn’t I must say the best I got from Wroclaw part of “Wayfarers and Warriors” tour was a huge amount of joy and endorphins. Three bands - KORPIKLAANI, TURISAS and TROLLFEST - played four concerts in Poland in March (Gdansk, Warsaw, Cracow and Wroclaw) and the combined Norway-Finland Folk / Power Metal attack on the city was a huge success.
