The light rain sets off as we drive into the parking lot of the Turbinenhalle. Quickly we found a parking space, passed a really, really long queue and worked forward to the press entrance where we are welcomed very friendly. The hall quickly fills up and the queue at the toilets is sometimes more populated than the area in front of the stage first. But that changes quickly and you notice from the beginning that the evening is very emotional. And already the light goes out for the support act...

The 2nd of March was the date that was marked in my calendar as the one when I’d finally see the triumphant return of COVENANT to stage. The “Fieldworks Tour” 2019 that started back on 7th of February in Berlin finally got to its grand finale in Leipzig. The supporting bands for COVENANT were the Brits of EMPATHY TEST and - for the first time (technically - second - after Jena show) - GRABYOURFACE.

After the BLUE MAN GROUP’s concerts in autumn 2017 were sold out for a week in the capital’s National Theatre as part of their world tour, the men in blue returned to the Grand Duchy from 28 February to 3 March. Their world tour, which took place this time at the Rockhal, was just as spectacular as last year. This spectacle was definitely an unforgettable and brightly coloured party for all generation. Laibach - “The Sound of Music” Tour 2019

LAIBACH performances are always quite the event. Every time they play, the venues are filled with people curious to see what will be presented this time, if there is a shock, a game with ideas, a scandal or other mind trick waiting - no surprise then that on 24th of February in Stary Klasztor there was barely a place to move. The venue was packed with people excited to listen to both new songs of ‘The Sound of Music’ - album released on 23rd of November 2018 - and to see Marina Mårtensson supporting Milan Fras on vocals. Some left the spectacle a bit disappointed with the absence of Mina Špiler, the others enthusiastic about the show, but no one, absolutely no one was indifferent.
