With the crushing roar of guitars, a concert of legends of the Swedish melodic music, of the metal of IN FLAMES passed down! I was at their concert for the first time and had the honor to take pictures of them! Sometimes dreams come true even when you do not cease to wish for their embodiment. It was awesome! E-Werk Ost Festival with Channel East, Machinista, Enter and Fall, Torul, Sono, Solitary Experiments, Melotron and Diorama
April started this year with an event at Reithallestrasse E in Dresden. A total of eight bands were on the line-up of the E Werk Ost Festival. CHANNEL EAST opened the event, followed by MACHINISTA from Sweden. Also ENTER AND FALL, TORUL and SONO delivered grat shows. The great festival evening was completed by SOLITARY EXPERIMENTS, MELOTRON and finally of course the headliner DIORAMA.

Children of Bodom & Support: Forever Still & ONI
Last weekend, CHILDREN OF BODOM visited Reithalle Strasse E in Dresden to celebrate the 20th band anniversary together with their fans. Most songs from the setlist were taken from the first two albums and they audience enjoyed the music. FOREVER STILL and ONI opened the evening and as always it was a great concert at Reithalle Strasse E. Sadly we have no pics from ONI for you since the band started half an hour earlier than announced. But we hope you enjoy the pics of FOREVER STILL and CHILDREN OF BODOM.

Swans & Little Annie
SWANS, led by Michael Gira, formed in 1982 and, after disbanding in 1997, returned with the critically acclaimed albums ‘My Father Will Guide Me Up A Rope To The Sky’ (2010), 2012’s ‘The Seer’ and 2014’s ‘To Be Kind’. The band’s latest album, ‘The Glowing Man’, was out in June 2016, followed now by a European tour in spring 2017 in support of this album. LITTLE ANNIE is joining Swans on most European dates.

Amy MacDonald + Newton Faulkner
If you think of AMY MACDONALD, you have her song ‘This is the Life’ immediately in your head. Amy is a star since she stepped into the light with this song and the same titled album in 2007. Any of her albums was awarded with Platinum. Several gold awards are hanging on her walls as well. Those facts should be enough to prove her qualities: her folky and slight melodies along to catchy lyrics are her secret recipe.
