Because what else would you expect from HYPOCRISY's death metal veteran, who not only plays industrial metal with PAIN, but is considered to be one of the most influential producers in the metal scene (DIMMU BORGIR, CHILDREN OF BODOM, SABATON etc.), and just recently launched his controversial project LINDEMANN in partnership with RAMMSTEIN's front man Till? To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the album ‘Plays Metallica by Four Cellos’, APOCALYPTICA re-releasing it and remastered the album with three bonus tracks on the 22nd July 2016, with success. Last night, APOCALYPTICA played in the nearly sold out Atelier and the crowd was excited. The special anniversary show to celebrate that album, which only contains METALLICA songs, was remarkable. The band opened the evening with ‘Enter Sandman’ and the people yelled the lyrics with them. Please enjoy our pictures of the evening!

Since the concerts on the first day were taking place until late at night, the second day started quite late for me, after I had a good lunch, at the Rattenfängerhalle with X-RK, followed at the Sumpfblume by HELDMASCHINE. The following day was marked by a change of locations, mainly between the already mentioned two, and rousing concerts. With short visits to other locations we finally met Christian von Aster once more for another reading, this time at the Hemmingway… at least it was planned there but there were some difficulties and so, writer and listeners found a cosy place nearby under some trees in the shadow of a church. Without any technical help, an extraordinary event took place. Kudoss to author and fans!

Last Saturday, DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER visited the Alter Schlachthof in Dresden. The band was not on stage for a long time and celebrated their return with the fans. “Have you missed us”, asked the band in the first song ‘Wir sind zurück’. The answer from the audience was clearly “YES!” It became a very hot concert evening. Already the support band MOTOROWL heated up the audience properly. At the end of the concert everyone had lost a lot of sweat and everyone got a brilliant concert evening.
