Placebo - Open Air 2024
The legendary band PLACEBO is coming to Germany for some dates. Including on 10th of August 2024 in Schwetzingen, 16th August 2024 in Uelzen and on 17th August at the Bürgerwiese Baumberg in Monheim/ Rhein. With the extraordinary voice of charismatic singer Brian Molko and his partner Stefan Olsdal, the two created a new kind of Indie Rock in the 90s. The duo, founded in London, quickly gained a large fan base and played at numerous festivals over the next few years.
Other artists such as David Bowie and Robert Smith (THE CURE) soon became aware of the band and performed together. Fans are sure to be able to experience many of their hits such as ‘Every You, Every Me’, ‘The Bitter End’, ‘Battle for the Sun’ or ‘The Never-Ending Why’ live. Placebo also like to play live cover versions of well-known songs. Unfortunately, as expected, the concert in Monheim sold out quickly. However, tickets are still available for the other Festivals.
