Muse - “The Wow! Signal Europa Tour 2026”
MUSE are going on a major European tour with their new album ‘The Wow! Signal’ and will also be stopping at the PSD BANK DOME in Düsseldorf. The exceptional British Rock band led by Matt Bellamy has been one of the most successful and spectacular live bands in the world for decades. With songs from their new album as well as major hits from over 30 years of band history, fans can expect an energetic show blending Alternative Rock, stadium sound, and an impressive live production.
Formed in Teignmouth, Devon, in 1994, MUSE - consisting of Matt Bellamy, Chris Wolstenholme, and Dominic Howard - has evolved from small-town alternative rockers into one of the most ambitious stadium-acts in music history. The band initially turned heads with their 1999 debut ‘Showbiz’, showcasing Bellamy’s sweeping falsetto and a raw, melancholic Rock edge. However, it was their sophomore effort, ‘Origin of Symmetry’ (2001), that truly redefined their trajectory.
Introducing classical piano arrangements, distorted basslines, and operatic grandiosity on tracks like ‘Plug In Baby’ and ‘New Born’, the album established the trio’s signature eclectic style. Throughout the 2000s, MUSE solidified their status as Rock royalty by continuously expanding their sonic borders. ‘Absolution’ (2003) brought apocalyptic themes and massive international hits like ‘Time Is Running Out’, while ‘Black Holes and Revelations’ (2006) masterfully blended Space-Rock with electronic dance elements, yielding the global phenomenon “Supermassive Black Hole”.
Never content to stay in one lane, they embraced fully self-produced Symphonic Rock on ‘The Resistance’ (2009) - which earned them their first Grammy Award - and experimented with electronic dubstep textures on ‘The 2nd Law’ (2012). Following the conceptual, militaristic Rock of ‘Drones’ (2015), the retro-futuristic Synth-Wave of ‘Simulation Theory’ (2018), and the aggressive genre-hopping of ‘Will of the People’ (2022), MUSE has reached a monumental milestone with their tenth studio album, ‘The Wow! Signal’.
True to form, the band launched the album cycle with characteristic theatricality, sending a broadcast into the upper atmosphere to announce the record. Grounded in electronic experimentation, cosmic mysteries, and Progressive Rock grandeur, the new material effortlessly bridges the vintage, riff-heavy Space Rock of their early years with forward-thinking conceptual art, proving that even after three decades, MUSE remains fundamentally incapable of thinking small.
