Backstage Werk, Munich, Germany
26th October 2013
Tarja & Teodasia
It is a long time ago since TARJA visited Munich for the last time. Exactly said, she was to be experienced for the last time with NIGHTWISH more than eight years ago here live. The more I was tense on how she sounded solo and people were eagerly awaiting the concert at Munich’s Backstage Werk.

Anneke van Giersbergen & Amanda Somerville’s Trillium
In a nicely restored former zinc factory, which is now a recreation and culture centre, you’ll be frequently offered fine concert acts. The Zentrum Altenberg is situated close to the main station of Oberhausen and thus easily to reach with public transport. The venue has a capacity for 800 people. Today, we were offered Anneke van Giersbergen, who just had released a new album.

Midge Ure & Steve Rodgers
Already last year, MIDGE URE was around to present an acoustic set. Only him and his guitar, presenting purely acoustic versions of ULTRAVOX evergreens and original material. Of course in Oberhausen this year, he presented such ULTRAVOX classics as 'Vienna' or ‘dancing with Tears in my Eyes’ as also lots of pieces from his solo works, as 'If I Was' or 'Breathe'. But before you could enjoy Midge himself, the evening was started with an acoustic performance of Steve Rodgers.

FZW, Dortmund, Germany
23rd October 2013
Tarja & Scala Mercalli
Her current album is the centre of this year’s autumn tour of singer Tarja Turunen. During eight shows in Germany, she’ll present the album to her audience. The show in Dortmund was far from being sold-out. I had expected more interest in the solo work of Tarja, but sadly the venue was half filled only. Anyway, the people being present should be rewarded with a great concert…
