11th October 2009
Green Day, Prima Donna
A large crowd was waiting outside of The Globe venue (or Globen as it´s called in Swedish) when the doors opened two hours before the show. Some people had been camping outside and beside the long line some parents were taking care of their children’s coats and belongings before they should enter the arena. There was some chaos when the doors opened but after some tumult we were finally inside. Everyone has high expectations of this concert.

Epica, Sons of Seasons
These days EPICA is releasing their 7th Album, named 'Design Your Universe', so only one good reason to go on a huge european tour again. I was really curious about their live performance at Karlsruhe's Substage, because on the 2009 festival tour they seemed to be really tired and half-hearted.

Diary of Dreams, Deathstars, Lacrimas Profundere, Dope Stars Inc.
The start of the Into Darkness festival tour wouldn’t go down that smooth with a bomb thread mixing up the entire schedule and people having to wait outside the venue for nearly two hours in the freezing could. Well, I ‘m glad we had no such incidents in Cologne. The entrance procedure went by quick and soon people streamed into the nice venue, got to the bar to have a drink or two or paid the merchandize booth a visit, because there were still 30 minutes to go until the first band would come on stage.

Taubertal-Rocknacht: Skunk Anansie, Donots, Itchy Poopzkid, Fiddlers Green, Eternal Tango, The Intersphere
Every summer, the Taubertal festival - which is well-known for a hand-picked Alternative music programme - takes place in Southern Germany. On 10th October 2009, its indoor version attracted many listeners of popular international and German acts such as SKUNK ANANSIE, DONOTS, ITCHY POOPZKID, FIDDLERS GREEN, ETERNAL TANGO and THE INTERSPHERE. It was a cold afternoon when the attendees gathered in front of the Posthalle located the downtown area of Würzburg waiting for admission which should have taken place at half past 4 pm. However, there were some sound check problems resulting in a 30-minutes delay. At this point, I would like to praise the friendly and helpful Posthalle staff that finally made everything run smoothly.
