Chimaira, Dark Tranquillity, Hatesphere
Northern Europe and America met that evening in a real thunderstorm of sounds and light. As cherry on the cake, support Hatesphere could keep up with the headliners and was the secret tip of the evening. Hatesphere started very much in time – exactly five minutes before time – into the evening. According to this, we sadly missed the first song. But besides us many other people still arrived and so the band started in front of a well filled up venue.

Holle Bolle Gijs, Schoonhoven, The Netherlands
December 10th 2005
TBC, De Woanzin, Nuestros Derechos
On a cold and freezing night in Schoonhoven a large group of friends, some of the usual bar visitors and an other group of young people gathered in the Holle Bolle Gijs café. There was no stage, the bands were playing at one side and the audience was on the other side of the café. The lighting was provided by Christmas lights and they brought all their own equipment. No thanks to the circumstances it was a great and crazy night with great performances.

Das Ich, The Invincible Spirit, The Eternal Afflict, PTYL
A very special event was awaiting us this Friday night. Two record labels (Endless Records and Danse Macabre Records) were coming together to present a special little festival tour: Endless Danse Macabre - two bands of each label (“Ptyl” and “Das Ich” from the “Danse Macabre Label”; “The Eternal Afflict” and “The Invincible Spirit” from “Endless Promotion”) presenting old school and modern electronic music. It was a very nice combination for all the lovers of electronic music that love to dance. Website

The Bloodhound Gang, Electric Eel Shock, Spitting of tall Buildings
Three bands for one evening: “The Bloodhound Gang” and “Electric Eel Shock” - two bands who know how to put on a great show – and the German band” Spitting Of Tall Buildings” that looks a bit alienated in this set.

Teviot University, Edinburgh, UK
November 24th 2005
VNV Nation
Edinburgh on the 24th of November is very cold. Actually, it’s freezing cold. It’s the second show of the UK Formation Tour, held at Teviot University. I wasn’t too sure about the venue but I believe that doesn’t really matter. After [:SITD:] warmed up the audience, 10.30pm was rather late for VNV to enter the stage. Nevertheless, the crowd was still very awake and Ronan, Mark, Vasi and Kolja received a very warm and loud welcome. Some glow-sticks came along too, as you may have guessed.
