EP Review
The full-length album of electronic project TORUL will be released quite soon, but before that fans have a chance to assess the second single off the new creation entitled ‘Partially Untamed’. The opening piece seems to be quite cheerful yet a bit monotonous however that monotony soon disappears in the variety of sounds. The vocals produce a fairly good impression but at the same time don’t do well with the music which mostly deafens the voice so it’s hard to understand lyrics. ‘Show Me Your City’ is the only song that differs from the rest of the material and this time the voice absolutely harmonizes with the melody. As for the remixes, all of them deserve a special attention because they all have their moments yet I personally like the one by Noir Frais. In general the single is not bad and will definitely interest TORUL’s fans but anyway it will be possible to appreciate the band after listening to the complete album.
