The Slovenian band TORUL was founded by Torul Torulson who is the songwriter and producer of the band. Their first album ‘Dark Matters’ was released in 2010 and reached, despite the poor promotion, some attention with two singles from this album. Right after signing to the German independent label Infacted Recordings, they released the second album ‘In Whole’ and the two released singles made it even into the top 3 of diverse alternative charts. When the singer Jan starts to sing ‘Glow’, he casts a spell over the listener. His remarkable voice is underlined by a dark but still Electro-Pop tune. Listen to it once, twice or more times and “then you really love this”. While the ‘Steamgarden’ and the ‘Kobayashi’ remix of ‘Glow’ are more close to the original, the ‘Nebes’ remix is a completely different interpretation of the song, you actually don’t recognize the melody and if there weren’t the lyrics sung in an alienated way, you would not even realize what song this is.
