In April 2023, the E-tropolis Festival team announced that the festival, planned for September 2023, would be rescheduled to its traditional spring date. The festival will take place on 2nd March 2024. The organizers cited the unavailability of many top bands and potential headliners in September as the reason for the change.
Additionally, there was a growing desire among the festival attendees to return the E-tropolis Festival to its spring schedule, reminiscent of the pre-pandemic times. With the exception of EMPATHY TEST, who are on their 10th anniversary tour in 2024, all bands previously confirmed up to that point, were able to maintain their commitment for the spring date. The line-up is now complete and promises a lot for fans of darker electronic music genres such as EBM, Synth Pop, and Dark Electro across the two stages at Turbinenhalle Oberhausen. Tickets purchased for 2023 will remain valid for the new date in 2024.

On Friday, 1st March 2024, starting from 10:00 PM, the festival invites you to the official E-tropolis Festival pre-party at Turbinenhalle 2 in Oberhausen. Featuring a powerful mix of EBM, Synth Pop, Future Pop, Industrial, and beloved scene classics. As usual, entry to the pre-party is free with a valid current E-tropolis Festival ticket (2023 or 2024). Without a ticket, entry is 10.00€ at the door.
