The Red Paintings & Mr. Fandango
Australian band THE RED PAINTINGS is on tour in Europe this summer, going from small club to small club and living the life of a newcomer on the road. Their “Deleted Romantic Tour” also brought them to the Gleis 22 in Münster, Germany, and thus literally just down the street for me.

Wirtz - “10 Jahre sind ne kleine Ewigkeit” Tour
It was a great weekend. On Saturday, I was at the concert of THE RED PAINTINGS and stayed very long at the after show party “Black Out“ and on Sunday evening, I went to WIRTZ. Oh my fucking god, I felt like a little girl on Christmas who knows she´s going to get a pony. For ten years I´m listening to the music of this extraordinary fantastic singer/ songwriter. WIRTZ is my men for the good and for the bad times. Yes of course for the really bad times, too. His songs are describing situations and feelings from real life. Everybody knows it. For ten years I´m listening to WIRTZ, he is on his 10th anniversary tour and it is the first time for me to see him live on stage.

When it was announced that after nine years Metalmania, the biggest indoor metal festival in Eastern Europe, is back, I thought it would be cool to go to Poland and check it out. So here I am now standing front of awesome Spodek Hall, getting a wristband and catching bands on the main stage, amazed by the amount of people gathered.

New Waves Day with The Mission, Chameleons Vox, Cassandra Complex, Bollock Brothers, Boytronic, Fliehende Stürme & Frank the Baptist
The Turbinenhalle has been proud host of the E-Tropolis for a couple of years now, and this festival for all things EBM, Industrial and Synth-Pop is arguably one of the biggest indoor events for the electronic side of the international Goth scene. So why not trying something similar for the more guitar-driven, Rock-oriented side of the dark scene? This May saw the first edition of the New Waves Day at the Turbinenhalle, including big names like CASSANDRA COMPLEX, THE CHAMELEONS VOX and headliners THE MISSION.
