Anathema, Mother’s Cake
In the beginning, ANATHEMA were a Doom and Gothic Metal band, but over the last years they developed their music into their own way of melancholic Alternative Rock. Now they were playing their first German concert in Karlsruhe. Leading to their new album the tour is called ‘Satellites over Europe’. On the whole tour they are supported by the Austrian band MOTHERS CAKE. They are playing Progressive and Hard Rock. So this brought a big musical variety.

Darkflower Live Night: Beyond Obsession, Eisfabrik, T.O.Y., Melotron, Diorama
Just like the Darkflower as an alternative club itself, the Darkflower Live Night has become a well-known thing not only in Leipzig. Having open air version of this mini-festival in July at Parkbühne Leipzig, this time Werk 2 was chosen as the concert location with BEYOND OBSESSION, EISFABRIK, T.O.Y., MELOTRON and DIORAMA entertaining the audience with synth pop sounds at the 7th Darkflower Live Night.

Kissin’ Dynamite, UMC - Ultimate Music Covers, Markk 13
KISSIN DYNAMITE call themselves the inventors of Sleeze Metal. Their music is strongly 80s influenced and with their new album ‘Megalomania’ the five Swabians are currently touring through German clubs. One station was the Matrix in Bochum. As announced, the doors were supposed to open early before 19:00 with an early start of the concerts at 19:15. There were some delays and finally at 19:45, the first support act entered the stage.

Lord of the Lost & Rabia Sorda
Watching Germanys well-known dark rock band for the first time, I didn’t get disappointed when it came to charismatic guys, highly impressed girls in the audience and an entertaining show. Being supported by RABIA SORDA, which is a band project of HOCICO’s Erk Aicrag, the evening in Osnabrück turned out to be fun as hell.

Deine Lakaien & God’s Bow
On that Monday, not all people in munich were heading to the Oktoberfest. In the East one could see a lot of activity around the Theaterfabrik where DEINE LAKAIEN should appear to play one of their shows supporting their new album.
