Zeche, Bochum, Germany

Diorama
Wow, it’s already half a year since I’ve last seen on of my favourite bands performing. There it came in handy the guys of DIORAMA were doing one rare performance at Bochum’s Zeche this Saturday evening. Still unclear at this time was whether there would be a support act or not. But due to the lack of any other than the DIORAMA equipment on stage we figured it “might” be even a single show.

Tochka Club, Moscow, Russia
19th February 2011
Combichrist, Mortiis, Amnistia
‘Straight to Hell’, the title of the hit by German power metal band RAGE would be a suitable signboard at the entrance of the club that day, although “hell” in the finest sense of the word which mostly meant the crowd raving during the event. European Killfest: Overkill, Destruction, Heathen, After All

C-Club, Berlin, Germany
25th February 2011
Blitzmaschine, Mortiis and Combichrist
With the concert in Berlin, the gig took place at a venue being too small for Bands like MORTIIS and COMBICHRIST. It was one of just seven concerts within the still running “Making-Monsters-Tour” through Europe. But the Germans were lucky. Nearly all concerts and some festivals within this tour here in Germany are at the weekends. Not like in Scandinavia or Eastern Europe. Anyway, BLITZMACHINE is playing only in Germany…

Westfalenhalle, Dortmund, Germany
3rd March 2011
Kim Wilde, Kellner
Well, there’s a new album and of course this has to be supported by a tour, but in case of KIM WILDE people are not coming for the new songs only; they’re, apart from having a good time, there to reminisce with the big catalogue of hits she has just as well. This time they came to the little part of Dortmund’s Westfalenhalle, where the show was going down.
