Today our guest is the mysterious and fabulous THE DARK TENOR. I like his music very much and when I saw the pictures of his tattoos on Instagram, I couldn’t resist doing an interview at the next possible date. In January we met before the show at the Batschkapp in Frankfurt. Now I can share the results of our interview with you here…Reflections of Darkness [RoD]: The first question. When did you get your first tattoo and what was it? Did it take much time to decide to get it done?
The Dark Tenor: My very first tattoo was a hasty reaction. At 16 came the earrings and then I turned 18 and was allowed to make my own decisions. I went out and got the tattoo done. Of course, I had no idea and just chose something from the templates the tattoo artist had and that tattoo still can be seen. The tattoo on my shoulder, exactly.

Some of our interviewers are hard to reach, but we simply can’t give up. This interview was one of them. Our today’s guest has given us the agreement to be the part of the project in December 2017 and it took more than 1.5 years finally to have a possibility to do this. But anyway, it was worth the waiting. On the summer tour of COMBICHRIST in Batschkapp, Frankfurt I had the possibility to talk with Andy LaPlegua about his tattoos, it was real fun, and now I am happy to share the results with you.Reflections of Darkness [RoD]: The first question. When did you get your first tattoo and what was it? Did it take much time to decide to get it done?
Andy: It’s long time, a very long time ago. It was twenty four years ago.

Today, our guests are members of the band MARU which has an exceptionally original presentation, and sometimes experimental, but high-quality world-class music. All musicians are not new to the music field and great experience allows them to create something original. On October 1, 2018, the band released its second album, ‘Pompidou’, and the Museum of Contemporary Art of MARU, as the band members called it, just confirmed this statement. Those who follow the band, most likely, did not miss the video ‘Bulo’, where our today’s guests - Denis Dudko and Alexander Lyulyakin - managed to highlight some of their tattoos in one of the fragments, where they are shown with bare torsos. Our guest today is Sasa Stubbs, a musician who can do whatever he wants. His music is like him: emotional, thoughtful and sometimes abstract and experimental. On 15th February 2019, his album ‘Dream Of California’ (https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/dream-of-california/1450617591) was released. The album is very strong Trap & Rock oriented. We are very happy that Sasa has found the time in the whole preparation stress to talk with us about his numerous tattoos.- Details

EVEN TEMPER is a Modern Emo / Post-Hardcore trio from the south of Germany. After a change of line-up at the end of 2018 they will release new music in 2019. In a combination of emotional sound, heavy riffs and meaningful lyrics, there will be a lot of news from the guys in the coming years. Today our guest is Tim Petrasch - guitar & vocals - from the band and our talk today revolves around a different kind of art.Reflections of Darkness [RoD]: When did you get your first tattoo and what was it? Did it take much time until you decided to get it done?
Tim: I got my first tattoo at the age of 18… that was in 2012. The motive is a rose with a compass in the old school style. It didn’t take much time to decide, I found a similar motive on the Internet and then thought: “ok I want that”.
