Our guest today is Federico Amorosi from the Italian band DRESSEL AMOROSI. I was really happy to be able to do this interview. I have meet Federico first time eight years ago, when he has played with SPIRITUAL FRONT and already at that time I have admired his tattoos. I am really thankful for the amazing shooting which Federico has made for our project, and hope you will like the pictures as much as I am. - Details

Recently, in Post-Industrial music there has been a kind of revival of already old genres. If 10-12 years ago old-school EBM was on that list, then in the last couple of years Electro-Industrial has entered this category. Maybe it’s time for the revival of the rhythmic Dark Electro. And the prerequisites are already being observed. However, there is some raise in Aggro-Industrial, but from the old echelon of musicians. But still, high places in the top for 2019 were taken by albums with a mixture of genres.- Details

Our guest today comes from Greece. I must confess, when I first saw Evan’s pictures, I couldn’t help but think about heroes, ancient Greek myths, and the music style of the band – “Occult Heavy Metal / Progressive Heavy Metal” - it gave me food for thought about the pantheon of gods. If you think so too, have a listen to the latest release of the band – ‘Towards the Damned’ which was released on December 7th, 2019. But let’s get back to our main topic - tattoos.Reflections of Darkness [RoD]: When did you get your first tattoo and what was it? Did it take much time until you decided to get it done?
Evan: My first tattoo was the tornado clock representing time travel, it’s part of my Donnie Darko 1/2 sleeve, I can’t say that it took much time to decide what I wanted since it’s one of my favorite movies, maybe it took some time to decide how I wanted the time travel concept to be illustrated.

Today our guest is Dakota Reyes from Metal / Hardcore band CLOSE TO NOTHING coming straight from the Upstate NY Capital Region. There will be no big introduction today, because Dakota can tell us much more interesting stuff about the band as me. So, let see. Reflections of Darkness [RoD]: Could you please tell a little bit about story of the band? When you have created it and how you all have got together?
Dakota:At first we did the most sketchy kind of thing possible, our first drummer,(didn’t play a show or record with us) and our current guitar and backing vocalist Cole Anderson met through a craigslist ad I had put up looking to start a Hardcore / Metal band, myself being the vocalist, Cole responded to me saying he and the drummer wanted to do the same thing. So we started our first “practice” with awkward conversation and doing covers of songs we discussed, I then recruited our first bass player who has since tragically passed away Jake Kipling(R.I.P), Cole brought in our second and final piece Nick Mauro on guitar.

Our search around the world for new artist for the project is going on. Our guest today comes from Phoenix, Arizona. Matthew Pero is vocalist and bassist in the Nu-Metal / Metalcore band N O V A. Last year they have released their debut EP ‘Apparitions’ and now there are in the studio working on new material for 2020. But our topic for today is not a music but tattoos so let’s start. Reflections of Darkness [RoD]: When did you get your first tattoo and what was it? Did it take much time until you decided to get it done?
Matthew: I got my first tattoo when I was 19 I was really into inspirational writing at the time so I got a quote by Albert Einstein “Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow”. I didn’t take much time at all to decide what I wanted.
