Summer is a wonderful period, full of holidays and heat. As for us, we use the good weather to shoot our today’s guest outdoors, not in the studio. Our participant is the guitarist of the Ukrainian alternative band DETACH, Den Fandera. DETACH have already shown themselves to an audience of a few million people by taking part in such projects as X-Factor, national preselection for Eurovision Song Contest 2017, and in The Voice. Den's tattoos' photos speak for themselves, and I have nothing there to add. But first things first.

I have always had soft spot for punk rock bands, and not because of the fact that statistically in 80% of cases half of a band has tattoos. This music style has something of absolute freedom and recklessness in it. That's why I'm always happy to visit such kind of events. At a concert in Ludwigsburg I saw the band DROPKID for the first time. And I'm glad that today I can present you my interview with this band's singer.

Reflections of Darkness [RoD]: When did you get your first tattoo and what was it? Did it take much time until you decided to get it done?
Flex: I was 18 years old and I made a Nautical Star on my left upper arm. Yes, I know that was a cliché, but almost all my friends-musicians have a "scene tattoo". My dad did not find that funny at all. He didn't speak with me for three weeks and just said that my brother and I had always painted each other with felt-pens when were children, and he was afraid that it would go so far. So, from this point of view, I was looking forward to having a tattoo for a long time. And I was not very selective at the time.

I was looking forward to having somebody from this amazing team in our project and today I'm really proud of presenting you our interview with Chris 51 – the owner of Area 51 Tattoo – he won many tattoo world awards and he has wonderful examples of his art on his skin.

Our Project is going already more than ten months and today I am very happy to present you our first guest from Ukraine. Like many other people who watched the Eurovision Song Contest I was really impressed by O.TORVALD's beautiful performance. Besides, when I saw Jenia's beautifully tattooed arms, I was looking forward to asking him to be a part of our project. And luckily everything came exactly as I wanted it to be. Thanks to our team in Kiev for good cooperation, to the management of the band and Jenia himself, we can enjoy this great interview now and look at his tattoos in detail. I am very excited about our guest today. Marcus “Max” Testory is not only a vocalist of DIE KAMMER (Die Kammer = The Chamber); he is also a songwriter, composer, actor, person with many fascinating facets and a very interesting conversation partner. Die KAMMER is not only the sole dark acoustic band in the gothic scene; with each new release they create another small chamber to show us a small part of their own world. On July 1st it will be possible to see band live again at Owl's Bats Festival in Detmold.
