The Sisters of Mercy & LSD on CIA
It's been thirty years ago that one-of-a-kind rock band THE SISTER OF MERCY from Leeds, Britain, has released their debut ‘First and Last and Always’ (1985). THE SISTERS are celebrated as icons because of their timeless tunes that are gloomy and danceable at the same time. Currently, the band is a touring outfit only and their concerts are regular. But this show in Cologne was really long-awaited: it was rescheduled for two times, cause of Andrew Eldritch illness. This time the concert finally took place.

Eisbrecher, Unzucht & One I Cinema
To some, EISBRECHER are the last true champions and pioneers of NDH (“New German Hardness”). For others, there's no one representing machinelike riffs, heaviness, and electronic catchiness better than this band around singer Alex Wesselsky and producer / guitarist Noel Pix. But now a new era dawns for EISBRECHER: With their sixth record ‘Schock’, which was released in January 23, 2015, they've established themselves as the ultimate voice of frosty Rock and Metal sounds that are heavy as steel and reach far beyond Germany's borders. Their album ‘Die Hölle muss warten!’ (transl. “Hell Has to Wait!”) from 2012 has been sold over 100,000 times reaching gold!

The Vintage Caravan, Dead Lord & Tiebreaker
If you're into retro rock you should not miss the Icelanders live on stage. On 13th March in Münster, they celebrated their final show of their first EU headline tour called “The Beautiful Tour”! DEAD LORD from Sweden and TIEBREAKER from Norway were going to contribute to the Rock’n’Roll explosion in the Sputnikhalle. DEAD SOUL describe their music with the help of a promise: “We shall rock you with our rock.” TIEBREAKER characterise their sound as “a bone breaking mixture of groovy, ‘straight-from-the-heart’ rock & roll and blues with a taste of progressive rock.” Sounds like a quite energetic evening and it was an energetic evening at the Café of Sputnikhalle.
