For over three decades, PARADISE LOST have defined the dark side of Metal. Founded in Halifax in 1988, they are considered pioneers of gothic metal, known for classics like Gothic (1991) and Draconian Times (1995). With more than two million albums sold and a constant musical evolution - from Doom-Death to electronic influences - they have inspired generations of artists.
In 2025, the British metal icons return with their 17th studio album, ‘Ascension’. Produced by guitarist Gregor Mackintosh at Black Planet Studios, the album combines powerful riffs, melancholic melodies, and the unmistakable atmosphere that has made PARADISE LOST unique for over 30 years.
