Life of Agony & Second Function
Even though LIVE OF AGONY currently cannot brace oneself up for writing new songs, nothing can prevent them from rocking the stage and perform together. After a very successful sold-out show in Hamburg in June 2015 the band is now back on headlining tour. As I really loved LIFE OF AGONY’s first two albums I was more than eager to finally see the band live. Well, about time regarding that the release of the first album was 23 years ago.

Sea + Air, Mister & Mississippi
Given the fact that MISTER & MISSISSIPPI are a relatively young band, they have already good prospects to gain wide publicity in music business, at least when taking a look at their tour schedule. Although most of their shows they – unfortunately – play in The Netherlands, they sometimes grace Germany with their presence, but then as a supporting act. The fifth one was depending on the musical preference of each of us. CHRISTIAN DEATH for the Batcave addicts, THE SISTERS OF MERCY for the people who preferred a touch of electronic vibe, or SIGLO XX for the post-punk freaks, like me. I saw them live once, it was in 1989 in Paris, I was only sixteen. More than 25 years after, I must admit that I still put myself in the category of the hardcore but enlightened fans of this cult Belgian cold-wave band.

Steven Wilson
The current success of Steven Wilson, head of PORCUPINE TREE and BLACKFIELD is incredible. After touring already with the ‘Hand.Cannot.Erase’ album last year, he is now back with a re-worked show where he presents the mentioned album completely. Besides there are new projections, new setlist and a new live-line-up. Like many other shows, the show in Bochum was sold-out.
