STONE SOUR
It seems STONE SOUR are only on the road this year. They’ve presented already their recent album ‘Come What(ever) May’ live for the 2nd time at the beginning of this year, then they’ve done the “Jägermeister Music Tour”, now they’ve returned to Europe to play at Germany’s biggest festivals “Rock am Ring” and “Rock im Park” and some smaller club and they’ve now just released new dates for America. The tour bus must be really comfortable. Read how they’ve rocked the Zeche and showed the people how a good rock show looks like.

WGT DAY 2: Amatris, Midnattsol, Untoten, ASP (acoustic), Zeraphine, Haggard, Moonspell, Rotersand, Psyclon Nine
Day 2 of this year’s WGT came and we were all excited about the bands that we planned on seeing this day. Looking at our schedule for this day, I could hardly wait starting this day with the first concert. The weather was beautiful but maybe a little bit too warm, especially looking at some of the outfits some people wore that day. We all were sweating like hell but it didn’t matter because we knew, there would be air conditioning and so, we were ready to enjoy the upcoming concerts. www.wave-gotik-treffen.de

Pride & Fall, Rotersand, Seabound, Dismantled
It was the day when almost all the gothic people had left the Netherlands to go to Leizip and Wave Gotik Treffen. The few that stayed had a great chance to see some very interesting bands at the Dependent festival during Underground Frequencies in the nice P60 venue. Some 60 people turned up and there was a nice relaxed atmosphere amongst the audience. When looking at the line-up there was nice diverse line-up provided by the German label Dependent, so nobody should leave unsatisfied.

Subway to Sally - "Nackt" Tour
During the last decade, the German medieval Rock band SUBWAY TO SALLY has become quite famous and the darker part of the German music scene is nowadays not to be thought of without them. They are known for rank songs with rocking guitars, accompanied by sometimes mellow, sometimes fast and virtuosic violin play, but also ancient instruments like the hurdy-gurdy or different flutes. For sure their dreamy, fabulous ballads provide an attraction, too. When such a band, normally kicking up a fuss on stage and using plenty of electronic support, decides to go on a completely acoustic tour, then this plan sounds very interesting to me. They adequately gave this tour the caption "Nackt" (=Naked), wanting to reduce their songs to the core and with this evoke them to an entirely different being, with yet unknown facets and more down-to-earth. After having finished their "Nackt" tour, the band is currently working on their new release, so far entitled ‘Bastard’. But on this evening of April, one can imagine that I was really excited to see and hear how SUBWAY TO SALLY would put into action their absorbing project. The Longhorn was well filled, and so the conditions were perfect for an enthralling concert night.

Rockhard Festival Day 2: Metal Inquisitor, Maroon, Turisas, Korpiklaani, Ross the Boss, Vader, Armored Saint, Death Angel
Thank *insertnameofdeityhere* we made it home early Friday night, getting up was hard enough - and I wasn't even drunk the evening before! Oh, were things going to get nasty on Saturday. If I'd known in advance I would've just stayed put and pretended I'd snared my pinky on my key holder and hurt it. But then I would've missed out on all the fun and fairies....
