Good things come to those who wait. The fans of AND ONE had to wait a long time for this new release. The first announced release date for ‘Bodypop 1 ½’ was the 7th December 2007, now fourteen month later the CD is out and I think the long waiting time was worthwhile. The announced EP with 5 cover songs changed first to a full time cover album and later to a live cover album. Wrapped in a nice orange CD cover, AND ONE now release a pleasing mixture of new stuff, until unreleased versions of old songs and a few live songs taken from the "The Bodypop Cover Lover Supershow".
The album starts with three new, calmer songs, followed by two until unreleased original versions of two songs from the album ‘Bodypop’. The tracks six to fourteen are a nice mixture of cover versions, recorded at the "The Bodypop Cover Lover Supershow" last year, which bring back memories to this great concert experience. Altogether ‘Bodypop 1 ½’ is a "must have" for every AND ONE fan and a good investment for all who like music of the 80ies. ‘Bodypop 1 ½’ is available at the usual online stores such as http://www.amazon.de/ or http://www.indietective.de/.
