But the band also gave me some of the happiest memories and most wonderful moments of my life. Writing about them, therefore is not only a special honour for me, but always something very personal.

Okean Elzy - “Help for Ukraine” Tour

On 25th November 2022 the famous Ukrainian Rock band OKEAN ELZY performed in Hamburg at Edel-optics.de Arena as part of their “Help for Ukraine” tour. All proceeds from the concert tickets and artist earnings will be donated to Ukrainian children who have suffered as a result of the war, as well as to medical institutions that provide medical assistance to all war victims and Ukrainian defenders.

Finally! In November 2022, the concert that was supposed to have taken place in April 2020 could finally take place. From April 2020 it was postponed to September 2020, then to September 2020, then to September 2021 and finally to March 2022. Well, in November 2022 the dream of many fans finally became reality: EVANESCENCE and WITHIN TEMPTATION were guests in Düsseldorf!

Solar Fake - “Enjoy Dystopia Tour” 2022 - Support: Seadrake

SOLAR FAKE released their current hit album ‘Enjoy Dystopia’ in February 2021. Because of the pandemic it took a long time to bring it to stage. For this tour SOLAR FAKE has invited SEADRAKE as special guest. It finally started this May and brought them to Hanover, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Bradford (UK). And after a break for a line of shows through the USA and Canada, SOLAR FAKE continued their “Enjoy Dystopia Tour” through Germany in October.

Billy Talent - “Crisis Of Faith Tour” - Support: Frank Turner

On Tuesday it was finally happening. After the show had already had to be postponed twice because of the pandemic, BILLY TALENT performed at the Rockhal on Tuesday evening as part of their “Crisis of Faith Tour”. The Canadian Punk Rock band had the Grand-Duchy jumping on that night. With them: the charismatic band around the Brit Frank Turner. An evening that made the hearts of many young and young-at-heart beat faster.
