19th January 2015
EMP Persistence Tour 2015 with Sick of it all, Ignite, Walls of Jericho, All for Nothing, Turnstile, Ryker’s, Broken Teeth
This years’ edition of the EMP Persistence Tour takes place at the new Tivoli Vredenburg venue in Utrecht. Headliner of the Hardcore festival is no one less than legendary New York Hardcore band SICK OF IT ALL. These guys have been rocking the stage since 1986 and in 2014, SICK OF IT ALL released their 11th studio album called ‘The last act of defiance’. The complete line-up of the tour consists of SICK OF IT ALL, IGNITE, WALLS OF JERICHO, RYKER'S, TURNSTILE, ALL FOR NOTHING and BROKEN TEETH. Unfortunately, because of parking perils and the early start of the concert, I missed out on the opening act BROKEN TEETH.

17th January 2015
Hammerfall, Orden Ogan & Serious Black
Just shortly after I reviewed the latest (and pretty good) HAMMERFALL record ‘(r)Evolution’ and so I was lucky to get the opportunity to see them live. After that output I was pumped to see them and now there is one more live event I can tell a story about... The show in Oberhausen was btw sold-out and so, the evening was promising to be hot!

21st January 2015
Alex Clare (acoustic) & Special Guest: Saint James
Originally planned for last autumn, the tour had to be postponed because of the insolvency of original tour promoter. Luckily, with FKP Scorpio, a new promoter was found and the “Three Hearts Acoustic Tour” was finally taking place. The first date was on 21st January in Oberhausen. Sadly, the rush for the concert was not really high and the crowd was manageable. But still, they were enthusiastic and a great show was ahead of us.

10th December 2014
Laibach
2014 was a touring year for Slovenian music collective LAIBACH. After releasing their critically acclaimed album 'Spectre' in February the band was pretty much constantly on the road in Europe with their new programme and in December they came back to Germany. Early 2015 will see even more LAIBACH dates, so we checked the show for you on December 10th in Krefeld.
