Lordi, Palace & Sinheresy
The monsters are back in town. In support of their most recent album ‘Scare Force One’, the Finnish monster rockers LORDI travel through the countries to put the fear of god into the humans attending their shows. You can read a lot about LORDI and what a show they’re laying down on stage, but those texts can’t prepare you for what’s in store for you when wanting to experience a show yourself. As support acts the monsters brought symphonic heavy metal band SINHERESY and Teutonic metal act PALACE.

E-Only Festival 2015 with Versus, Syntec, Dance or Die, Solar Fake, In Strict Confidence, [:SITD:] & Covenant
Leipzig, Valentine's Day and the question: what to do? Either you go out with your loved one, stare romantically into the stars, have yourself teared into the cinema for ‘50 Shades of Grey’, or you do something really fun. In that case, that would be probably going to one or more concerts. Since I don't have a boy- or girlfriend and Valentine's Day is generally too cheesy for me, I decided for the fun and found my way into the Stadtbad in Leipzig.

Qntal
It is now a part of history, a reminisce of a time that now belongs to a past century, that QNTAL woke the music scene with the song ‘Ad Mortem Festinamus’. They joined medieval music from the 14th century with a modern age and dance music. QNTAL kept on using the historical instruments but also electronic sounds to give the songs a completely new interpretation.

The Subways & Kill It Kid
Very happy-go-lucky, THE SUBWAYS present garage rock in its best. After the album ‘Young for Eternity’ and several more albums, the band lately released their self-titled fourth studio album. Being always impressed by their powerful live shows I did not question at all of I should attend one of their current shows promoting the new album. And so I found myself at the Zeche Bochum on 11th February, waiting for THE SUBWAYS and their support act KILL IT KID.

Monster Magnet & Bombus
Just a few month ago I did a review on the last MONSTER MAGNET output ‘Milking the Stars’ and I really fucking loved it and enjoyed it multiple times, so when I realised they come to Germany I freaked out a little over this opportunity. I heard about the support BOMBUS some time ago and checked them out, I figured this would be a worthy mixture and great fun for audiences on the tour (spoiler alert: it was great fun). The house was well attended but not sold out like the last few times, but hey I wouldn’t want it any other way because stoner rock is more grounded and private than power metal or stadium rock.
