25th December 2014
DarkStorm Festival with Project Pitchfork, Mono Inc., Megaherz, Hocico, Welle:Erdball, In Strict Confidence, Rotersand, DIVE, The Exploding Boy, Grausame Töchter, Coppelius, Ost+Front
Arriving in Chemnitz and expecting a lot of snow there on this December day, there was nothing like that. Honestly we had a little struggle to find the venue and something to park our car. When we finally found it and the building with a huge “Stadthalle” sign on it, we were waiting to get in. But at the wrong entry. Someone came out, told us we could wait here to get inside but he was wrong and after a while we started to walk around the building, asked people at the backstage entrance and finally got to find the right queue. But we were not that much lucky as in the very moment I entered the venue someone told me that the press people have a separated entrance and told me to get on the other one. Once again walking around the building, finding out the friendly security guy was wrong and finally found the right entrance for me after a freezing walk. Signs would have helped a lot, but that’s a thing coming to my mind a lot this day.

Eisheilige Nacht 2014 with Subway to Sally, Saltatio Mortis, Unzucht and Heldmaschine
Without ice-holy temperatures, I have made a pilgrimage with dear-lovely company to Dresden on 21st December 2014. In this evening, the Middle Ages rockers of SUBWAY TO SALLY invited to the EISHEILIGE NACHT at Alter Schlachthof Dresden. Already 6 o'clock was the admittance and on time at 7 o'clock, Eric Fish entered the stage to start the evening with a few words to initiate. Now with words of praise he announces the opener of the evening which ventured, his opinion, a skilful step towards independence. We are talking about HELDMASCHINE, formerly known as the RAMMSTEIN cover band VÖLKERBALL.

Combichrist & William Control
An evening of Aggrotech and Rhythm 'n' Noise: COMBICHRIST came to Hamburg on the “We Love You” tour and brought along WILLIAM CONTROL as their support. As we arrived, the Markthalle where the event happened is pretty crowded, but it is no wonder. The show was shifted two hours later because of an accident on the road. But it was possible to enter the Markthalle at the normal entry time at 7.30 pm, so some fans who did not know about it might have waited for a long, long time. But this would be well rewarded.

Neuroticfish & Terrolokaust
The motto of this concert evening was “Home match” as NEUROTICFISH are hailing from the Ruhr area. Many fans took this concert evening as a kind of early Christmas gift and a chance to have a big party. The venue has a capacity of approximately 600 - 700 people and was quite well filled.

Hundreds & Miss Kenichi
My first contact with HUNDREDS was when I heard a song of the band in local radio. Then, they were playing at Wave Gotik Treffen 2014 in Leipzig, but sadly I could not make it. The happier I was when I saw the band finally playing in my home town. No question that I would finally check them out playing live after all those positive critics I heard.
