Therion, The Vision Bleak
As a guest of Therion this tour I had been to a couple of shows already; Antwerpen and Amsterdam. Both were great as usual, but to this show I was really looking forward! It was the last show of the tour and, as already announced on the website, it was promised to be a very special show. Therion invited a couple of extra special guests to the last show: Mats Levén, Piotr Wawrzeniuk, Messiah Marcolin and belly dancer Arien.

Therion, The Vision Bleak
Early on this freezing Monday evening the Melkweg was full of metal fans. First The Vision Bleak and then Therion. Sirenia would have been there as well, but due to the departure of their singer this was cancelled. It was a special show for Therion because they were celebrating their 20th anniversary.

Laibach
A year after they have been in the Netherlands for their show in Tivoli the Slovenians from Laibach are back for yet another leg in their 'Volk' tour. The people slowly filled up the venue and the band kicked off their show right after the 'Wilhelmus, the Dutch National Anthem.

The Human League, OneTwo
The Human League you say, isn't that the band that made that one particular hit 'Don't you want me baby'? Yes of course they are, but they should be given way more credit than just that. Tonight at the 013's main hall they would perform an integral version of their 1981 Dare! album and after that they would sure play some more hits for the very diverse audience, mainly people in their 30's and 40's, those who may have been among the early adaptors of the electro music.

26th November 2007
Motörhead, Overkill, Skew Siskin, Valient Thorr
This late November night the legendary Hard Rock formation MOTÖRHEAD was going to appear at the Messe Congresszentrum B in Stuttgart, so I was sure to be there. The weather was already very cold and windy, and I was late due to having to work pretty long, so unfortunately the concert had already started when I arrived at the venue. VALIENT THORR were on the stage, the Congresszentrum nearly half-filled, but most of the attendees were hanging out around the beer- and food-selling stands.
