Is there anything left to say about DEPECHE MODE? For almost 30 years, the cultic admired Synth Pop heroes have been successful all over the world. Up to now, the band’s timeless and ground-breaking sound has influenced many artists regarding their style and artwork. On 17th April 2009, the Basildon based trio released its recent long-player `Sounds of the Universe´ which reached the pole position of the German album charts and was rewarded with gold only two days after.

Legacy Fest Day 2: Facebreaker, Demonical, Nachtblut, Graveworm, Mercenary and Eluveitie
After surviving the first day, we were happy to be still alive and looked forward to the second day of the Legacy Fest. Getting up pretty early, we had a nice breakfast before we went to the festival ground to see some great bands like GRAVEWORM, BEHEMOTH and ARCH ENEMY. But as you will read later on, we didn't manage to get to see all of those bands.

This day one part of our team wanted to attend all bands’ open air shows at the Parkbühne. With unsettling looks towards the skies we’re heading there and enjoyed the atmosphere and looks in the cable cars, all crowded with black-dressed people and the walk through Clara-Zetkin Park. For the rest of the team, the second day started pretty early, due to loud music coming from all sites of the camp ground.

The Zita Rock Festival was back. Decorated with six top acts, the summer made sense again. So, welcome now to Zitadelle Spandau, the renaissance fortress in Berlin and the ever recurring festival grounds of the Zita Rock Festival. It’s Saturday, 13th June 2009, where Honey (Welle:Erdball), as host, opens the festival at 3:00 PM sharp.
