The Berlin based Electro band SOLITARY EXERIMENTS is back with a new mini album ‘Trial And Error’. It is limited to 1,000 copies in a hand numbered Digipak and offers 11 songs. Included are a pair of new tracks, extended versions of the title track at album length, as well as some diverse remixes (Nice to hear from ROTERSAND). With ‘Trial And Error’, SOLITARY EXPERIMENTS launches a 100% dance floor compatible appetizer for their upcoming album ‘PHENOMENA’ (scheduled for August 2013).
The title track reminds of the golden age of the Future Pop movement. A song that is destined to become a club classic, a dance floor filler. ‘Trial And Error’ has anthemic qualities - a melody that is catchy a beat and can easily compete with the most popular songs of the band. The B-side ‘Eye Of The Storm’ is also an earworm with highly addictive sounds – a blast. With an extended cut of the title song plus a superb collection of highly quality remixes and reinventions (from names like ROTERSAND, HEIMATAERDE and many more
In short: an extremely varied Maxi CD in album length. What more could you want? It would be very surprised if the thing would not soon run in a loop in all electro-clubs. Better be quick to grab this one if you really want it. And keep in mind; SOLITARY EXPERIMENTS are on tour from the end of September. After this brilliant Maxi, I cannot wait for the album.
