Gotthard - Very Special Guests: Eclipse, The New Roses

Last Friday GOTTHARD were guests at the Musikhalle Markneukirchen. They were accompanied by ECLIPSE and THE NEW ROSES. This evening was my second time at the venue. I was already a guest in March when U.D.O. played there. The Musikhalle Markneukirchen is a very modern hall. The sound of the PA system is great and so is the lighting. I know many live event locations in Saxony and the hall is state of the art in terms of sound and lighting. The two concert evenings that I was able to experience there absolutely convinced me of the location. For the good work that is done there, I wish continued success and well-attended events.

COREY TAYLOR played his first solo concerts ever on German soil in Berlin and Cologne in 2023. The tickets sold out so quickly that Taylor even announced an additional show in Cologne, which also sold out. For those who missed out, there is good news: in the summer of 2024, the SLIPKNOT front man will return to Germany for two shows. On June 10, he played in Bochum, supported by SIAMESE from Denmark.

Saltatio Mortis - “Burgentour Finsterwacht 2024”

Last weekend, SALTATIO MORTIS were guests at the Wasserschloss Klaffenbach on their “Finsterwacht Burgentour”. Wow, what a brilliant concert evening. There had been a lot of rain in the region all week and the weather forecast for the weekend was not very good either. There were a few thunderstorm warnings. Many guests had prepared for this and turned up with rain gear. But we were lucky and there was no rain and no thunderstorms.

As always it is a once in a lifetime experience when you visit a LAIBACH concert. Well, it is not really a concert it is more a live art performance, a light and sound installation. After so many years I visited many LAIBACH performances and it was always a different experience.

Three people from Halle are on a mission to bring the music of MOTÖRHEAD and the power of Lemmy Rock’n’Roll to the people - and they come damn close to the famous original! Their name: KILMINISTER. A special highlight for them was a concert in 2013 in Berlin’s “White Trash” where Mikkey Dee, drummer from MOTÖRHEAD, sat down on the drums for the last songs of the concert - an accolade for the band, because Mikkey was very enthusiastic about the “German Execution"
