On February 15th, 2025, the legendary Anker Leipzig will host a night of extraordinary music, bringing together some of the most compelling acts in the alternative electronic scene. Presented by Pluswelt Promotion, Empathy Fest is not just a concert but a celebration of creative kinship, spearheaded by the UK’s synthpop sensation EMPATHY TEST.
Headlining the event, EMPATHY TEST - fronted by Isaac Howlett - has garnered a global following with their emotionally charged lyrics and lush electronic soundscapes. Known for their deeply relatable tracks and dynamic live shows, they bring a sense of intimacy and grandeur to every performance. Joining them are long-time friends and collaborators THE FOREIGN RESORT from Denmark, who blend Post-Punk influences with modern, driving rhythms. Their moody yet energetic sound ensures a perfect contrast to the evening’s line-up. Also on the bill is Sweden’s EMMON, a powerhouse of Minimal Electro whose blend of sleek beats and urban elegance was personally selected by Isaac Howlett as a must-have for this event.
Germany’s own DSTR, led by Daniel Myer, adds a layer of edgy experimentation to the festival. Myer’s projects have long pushed boundaries within the electronic scene, and his inclusion in the lineup is a testament to the mutual respect between these artists. Vienna-based LUCY DREAMS rounds out the evening, bringing their dreamlike soundscapes and reflective lyrics to the stage. Leipzig, a city that hosted one of the most memorable nights on EMPATHY TEST’s recent “10th Anniversary Tour”, was the natural choice for this event.
